Sea View

Sea View is in Dinas Cross, which is just inside the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park border in Carmarthenshire. It's one of a few holiday homes set within the Dinas Country Club grounds.

The cottage itself sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one is an en-suite. It's got a 5 Star rating from the tourist board, so it's well-equipped and in good order.

The main thing is the view. It looks straight out over Cardigan Bay. You get that from the living room and from the raised deck outside. The deck has furniture and a barbecue.

It's on a slope, so the garden is tiered. There are steps down to the lawn. It's enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. Speaking of which, you can bring up to two.

Being in the Country Club grounds means you have access to their facilities. There's an outdoor heated pool open in summer, a kids' play area, a football field, and a boules pitch. The clubhouse is a 13th-century building that does food and drink.

For the coast, you're very well placed. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs right past. A short walk one way takes you to Aberfforest beach, which is a small, quiet cove. The other way brings you to Pwllgwaelod, which has a pub right on the beach, and then on to Cwm-yr-Eglwys. They're all within about a mile or so.

The nearest shop and a local pub are in Dinas Cross village, less than ten minutes walk.

Fishguard is about a ten minute drive. You can get the ferry to Ireland from there. For boat trips to see dolphins or seals, Cardigan is roughly twenty minutes away. inland, the Cenarth Falls are about a half hour drive.

Facilities in the cottage: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. Parking is on site.
