Parrog Point is a detached cottage in Newport, Pembrokeshire. It's right on The Parrog, which is the little harbour beach with boats. The views are good. You can see the beach and the estuary from the main rooms.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. One bedroom is on the ground floor and has a wet room next to it. The stairs are fine.
Downstairs is open plan: kitchen, dining area, and a snug with a TV. Patio doors lead out to a gravel patio with a table, chairs, and a barbecue. Upstairs is the main sitting room, which has the best views. There's also a small reading room. The main bedroom has a balcony.
The cottage has a 5 Star rating. It's well-equipped. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We have a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
You're a minute's walk from the sand and shingle beach at The Parrog. Newport's main beach, the long sandy one, is about a mile away around the bay. The town centre is a 20-minute walk. It has shops, pubs, and places to eat. There's a summer café next door to the cottage.
For walking, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is on the doorstep. Carningli Hill is right behind the town for a good hike. The nearest golf is at Newport Links. Within half an hour's drive you've got good spots like Fishguard, Dinas Head, and the Preseli Hills.
