Keeper’s Nook - Dinas Country Club

Keeper’s Nook is one of four cottages at Dinas Country Club. It's a detached stone cottage, original to the site. The site is old woodland, about 22 acres of it. It used to be part of a monastery.

The cottage sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, but it's a cottage. The stairs are the main thing: they're spiral, and they're steep. They go up to the main bedroom.

You're in Dinas Cross, right in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The local beach, Cwm yr Eglwys, is about a ten or fifteen minute walk down a footpath. There's a shop about a minute's walk away. The on-site clubhouse serves real ales, but it's only open on weekends.

On site, there's a heated outdoor pool, a children's play area, and Wi-Fi in the clubhouse. The cottage has a wood burner, parking, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding is included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.

For a day out, Tenby is about a 40 minute drive. It's a proper seaside town with a big beach and boat trips. If you've got children, Folly Farm is a good zoo. Oakwood Theme Park and Heatherton are also within about 45 minutes.

It's good for coastal walking. The path right through the site links to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. You can walk around Dinas Head from here. Useful links for planning: Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and National Trust Pembrokeshire.

No pets, sorry.
