Gorwel Glas

This is Gorwel Glas. It's a detached house outside Fishguard in Pembrokeshire. It's set back from the road so you can't see any neighbours, just fields.

It sleeps six spread over four bedrooms, which feels roomy. There's one family bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-kept but not over the top. Everything you need is included. We leave bedding and towels.

The stairs are a standard turn. Nothing especially steep. There's a downstairs loo as well. The kitchen is all on the ground floor. It has a dishwasher and a washing machine. The garden is yours, with a patio. Parking is on the drive.

Fishguard is a few minutes' drive. There's a supermarket, cafés, and a couple of pubs. It's a working port town. For the beach, Goodwick Sands is close by. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is easily reached from there. We're not on the coast itself, but you can be at a good beach or walking the path in under ten minutes.

Within half an hour you've got St Davids, which is the smallest city in Britain. It's got the cathedral and some good places to eat. Newport and its beaches are about twenty minutes south. Further down the coast, you've got Tenby, which is a classic seaside town with a harbour and sandy beaches.

If you're planning days out, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park website is useful. So is the National Trust for Pembrokeshire, as they look after a lot of the coastline.

We can't take pets, sorry.
