Gorwel Glas
Gorwel Glas is on a hill just outside Fishguard. It's a detached house, so no neighbours through the walls. You get a garden and patio with a view over the fields towards the sea.
It sleeps six. Four bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating which means it's well looked after and comfortable. It's on one level except for two steps down into the living room.
You can walk down into Fishguard Lower Town in about 15 minutes. That's where the harbour is. There's a pub down there. Goodrington beach is a bit closer, a 10 minute walk. It's stony, but it's quiet.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs right past the bottom of the hill. You can walk west towards Strumble Head or east into Fishguard. The views are very good.
Within half an hour's drive you've got Newport Sands, a big beach good for families. Further west, the coast around St Davids is spectacular. The city itself is small but has the cathedral. Goodwick harbour, just the other side of Fishguard, has the ferry to Ireland if you're curious.
The house has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot. Pets aren't allowed. Parking for two cars on the drive.
