Snowdrop Cottage is in Lower Town, which is the harbour part of Fishguard. It's a terraced cottage. The road outside is sloped.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's recently been renovated and is in good order. There's one bathroom upstairs. The stairs are normal stairs, but they turn a corner near the top.
The garden is a real feature. It's terraced and looks out over the Gwaun Valley. You get some good views from up there. The kitchen is a galley style, so it's long and narrow. It has a dishwasher. The living room has the TV.
You can walk down to the harbour in a few minutes. There's a cafe there and The Ship Inn. The town of Fishguard itself is a short walk up the hill. It has shops, pubs, and a small theatre.
For walks, you can go along the river through the valley or pick up the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. The path goes both ways from here. The old fort to the north has good views back across the bay.
Within about half an hour's drive, you've got lots of the Pembrokeshire coast. Goodwick and Newport sands are close. Boat trips for spotting dolphins and puffins go from places like Cardigan. Inland, Cenarth Falls are worth seeing, especially if the salmon are running in autumn.
Tenby, Oakwood Theme Park, and Folly Farm are all within a 30 to 40 minute drive if you fancy a day out.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's parking for one car on the cobbled street outside.
