Mulberry House
Mulberry House is near Granston in Pembrokeshire. It's a stone-built house set back from the road down its own track. You've got about an acre of garden to yourselves, and the fields around it are ours, so it's private. It sleeps nine.
There are five bedrooms and three bathrooms. One bedroom and its ensuite shower room are downstairs, the rest are upstairs. It's got a 5 Star rating because it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. The heating is underfloor, powered by a ground source heat pump, so it stays at a steady temperature. There are also wood burners.
The kitchen is a good size with a view over the fields. The walls are stone in places with original beams. The floors are slate downstairs and oak upstairs. We've put artwork by local artists on the walls and Welsh wool blankets on the sofas.
The coast is about ten minutes away by car. For seals, Pwllderi and Strumble Head are good spots, especially in autumn when the pups are on the beaches. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park website has all the walking maps. You're well placed for exploring the north of the county.
In terms of things here: it's on one level inside once you're in, but there are a couple of steps between some rooms. The stairs to the first floor are a normal staircase. There's parking for several cars. We allow two dogs. All bedding and towels are included, and there's a washing machine, dishwasher, cot and highchair.
