Caerau Bach

Caerau Bach is our place in Llanon. It's detached, down a lane, next to our own house. We did it up a few years ago.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both downstairs. Each has its own bathroom. The main one is an en-suite.

The living space is upstairs. That’s to get the sea view, which is quite good on a clear day. It's open plan, so the kitchen, dining and sitting area are all one room. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The stairs are normal house stairs.

You're about a 15 minute walk from the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The hamlet of Trefin is close by, and there's a local pub about five minutes away in the car. Porthgain harbour is a short drive. It’s got a couple of good places to eat and drink.

St Davids is about 15 minutes away. It's a small city with the cathedral and the Bishop's Palace ruins. Boat trips to Ramsey Island leave from there. You can often see seals.

For facilities, it's got what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, parking on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if needed. There's a patio garden with a BBQ.

If you're planning walks, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park website is useful. For general information, Visit Wales has good overviews.
