Trewellwell Cottage
Trewellwell Cottage is in Caerfarchell, which is a small hamlet near Solva in Pembrokeshire. It's a detached house. It sleeps six in three bedrooms, with two bathrooms.
It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is clean and comfortable. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they're a bit steeper than you might be used to.
The front living room is light because it faces south. There's a wood burner. We put in a starter basket of logs. The kitchen has what you need, and we leave some basic things like oil and washing powder. The garden is enclosed, level, and sunny. There's a tap outside for washing off sandy feet or wetsuits.
You're in a quiet spot. The cottage is next to an old chapel. Good walking from the door across the heath, and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is about two miles away. The cottage has some maps and local books.
Solva is a few minutes' drive. It's a small village with a harbour. There are a couple of pubs, some places to eat, and a good village shop that does groceries. You can buy crabbing gear there. St David's is also close, maybe ten minutes. That's where the cathedral is, and there are more shops and cafes there. The beaches like Whitesands and Caerfai are a short drive from St David's.
Facilities: there's parking for two cars. We include bed linen and towels. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi. We can provide a travel cot, highchair, and stairgate. We allow up to two dogs. There's a dog bed and bowls if you ask for them.
