Goat Street Cottage is in St Davids. It's a short walk from the cathedral, about two or three minutes. You're right in the centre but it's on a side street, so it's quiet.
The place sleeps four, but one of the three bedrooms is quite small with a single bed. It's fine for a child. There's one bathroom with a separate shower and a bath. The garden is a small, enclosed courtyard. It gets the sun in the afternoon and is sheltered from the wind.
Inside it's open plan downstairs, with the kitchen, dining table and sitting area all in one room. There's a wood burner. The kitchen has a Rangemaster oven, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. There's also an electric vehicle charger outside.
St Davids is Britain's smallest city. The cathedral and Bishop's Palace are the main things to see. There are a few good places to eat and drink nearby, and a country market on Thursdays from April to September. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park information centre, Oriel y Parc, is a five minute walk away and is useful for maps and advice.
The coastal path is about a ten minute drive, or a bit longer if you walk. The closest good beach, Whitesands Bay, is a couple of miles by car. For sailing or boat trips, the harbour at St Davids is actually in a place called Porthclais, about a mile and a half away.
Further afield, you've got places like Solva with its harbour, and Fishguard, both within a twenty minute drive. The Preseli Hills are inland if you want to walk somewhere different.
The cottage has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped. We allow one dog. Things like bedding, towels, a cot and a highchair are all included.
