Ty Fferm
Ty Fferm is a farmhouse attached to the main farm. It's on a quiet lane off the A487, about halfway between St Davids and the coast at Abereiddi.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's roomy and clean. The kitchen is big, with a big table. There's an Aga. You can ask to have it lit for an extra charge. That's something you arrange and pay for directly with the owner when you book.
The kids can collect eggs from the hens in the morning. You can see the cows in the field from the back garden. The owners might show you around if they're about, but they'll leave you to it otherwise.
The front garden is enclosed. There's a gravel patio and a lawn at the back. You get the whole place to yourselves.
The local pub, the Sloop Inn in Porthgain, is about a mile away. They do good food. Abereiddi beach is two miles. It's a bit stony but good for swimming and has the famous Blue Lagoon quarry. The Coastal Path runs right along the clifftop there.
St Davids is four miles. The cathedral is worth seeing. Whitesands Bay is about five miles for a bigger sandy beach. For a day out, you can drive down to Tenby or up to Fishguard, both within half an hour.
Facilities wise: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and a wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. You can bring one dog. There's parking and an electric vehicle charger.
