Maes Y Ffynnon is a cottage in Lower Kingheriot, near Solva. It's one of two cottages together, but your garden is your own. It's south facing. The name means "Place of water" because there's a bit of common land behind where the old village well was.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. There's a wood burning stove in the lounge, set into an old inglenook fireplace.
The garden is to the side and has two small ponds. They are netted over, so they're safe. Pets are allowed, but we ask that they stay downstairs, not in the bedrooms.
Solva village is about a mile away. It's a good place. There's a small, safe beach in the harbour, a couple of pubs, some shops, and a very useful village store that sells most things. You can walk to the Woollen Mill from the cottage.
For walks, the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is right there. Solva Sailboats run a water taxi from the harbour, so you can get dropped off up the coast and walk back.
The facilities are all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. The entrance and the ground floor are wheelchair accessible.
