Southwood Cottage is in Newgale, Pembrokeshire. It's a detached bungalow, so all on one level. You get a clear view straight out over St Brides Bay from the front. The sea is right there.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bathroom is an en-suite to the main bedroom. There's a sun room off that bedroom too. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's well looked after.
The cottage is on a public footpath. You can walk straight from the garden down to Newgale beach in about five minutes. It's a big beach, good for surfing. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs past as well.
St David's is about a ten-minute drive. It's a small city with a cathedral and the Bishop's Palace ruins. There are places to eat and drink there. The local bus service goes through Newgale village if you want to do a one-way walk.
To the north, Porthgain is a twenty-minute drive. It's an old harbour with a good fish restaurant. To the south, you've got Little Haven and St Brides Bay. They're smaller, quieter coves.
Facilities wise: there's a wood burner, a hot tub, a summer house in the garden, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking for two cars on the drive. No pets, sorry.
