Southwood Cottage is on the hill above Newgale beach. It’s detached, and looks out over the bay. You can see the sea from the front.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms so no queueing. One bedroom has its own shower room. There’s a little sun room off that bedroom. The stairs are fine.
The garden is big and enclosed. There’s a summerhouse at the bottom if you want some quiet. The hot tub is on the patio at the front.
You can walk down to Newgale beach in about five minutes. A public footpath runs past the bottom of the garden. The sea is very cold most of the year, but the sand is great and the surfers are out in all weathers.
St Davids is about ten minutes away by car. It’s got the cathedral and the Bishops Palace ruins. Plenty of places to eat. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs right through if you’re walking.
If you drive, Porthgain harbour is about 20 minutes north. Good for fish and chips by the water. Little Haven is about 15 minutes south, a smaller cove.
Inside, it’s got what you’d expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. There’s a wood burner in the living room. We leave some logs to get you started.
For a rainy day, you’re about half an hour from Oakwood theme park or Folly Farm. Both are straightforward family days out.
Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is on the drive. No pets sorry.
