The Burgage is in Nolton Haven, Pembrokeshire. It's a detached, modern house, not a traditional cottage. An architect designed it, and it was in a magazine once.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, so that's handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's very clean and comfortable.
The main thing is the space and the light. The living room has huge floor-to-ceiling windows looking straight out over your own private garden. The garden is big, part lawn and part left wild, with a stream along the bottom. Good for kids to run about. Patio doors open right onto it.
Inside is open plan, kitchen into living area. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. It's all on one level at the back, but the house is split-level, so there are a few steps inside between some rooms.
Nolton Haven beach, which is a sheltered sandy cove, is about a five minute walk down the lane. The local pub is also a short walk. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
For facilities, you've got the basics covered: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, parking on site. Bedding is included, and we can provide a cot and highchair.
Inland, you've got the Preseli Hills about a 30 minute drive. Good for walking and history, with ancient stones up there. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is right on your doorstep for proper walks. For a day out, St Davids with the cathedral is about 25 minutes by car. Haverfordwest is the nearest bigger town for supermarkets.
