The Barn At Mill Haven Place
The Barn is on a headland near Talbenny. It looks out over the countryside. It's about a mile from the sea at Little Haven.
It sleeps eight. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well finished. We converted it from an old stone barn, so the walls are thick. It stays cool in summer and holds the heat in winter.
There's underfloor heating from a ground-source heat pump. The water is from our own spring, filtered. We've tried to make it efficient.
Large French doors open onto a lawn at the front and a courtyard at the back. Both have furniture for sitting outside. There's a BBQ. The courtyard gets the sun in the afternoon.
Inside, there's a wood-burning stove in the living room. The ceilings are high. There's a TV, WiFi, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.
You can bring two dogs. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The local pub is about a ten minute walk. Little Haven village is just over a mile away, with a couple of pubs and a small beach. For a bigger beach, Broad Haven is next to it. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs right past the end of the lane.
Within half an hour you can drive to St Davids for the cathedral, or Dale for sailing. Lots of good beaches are nearby, like Marloes Sands. For a day out, you have Pembroke Castle to the south and the Preseli Hills inland.
