The Barn is on the headland in Talbenny, just outside Little Haven. It's about a mile from the sea. It's a converted stone barn, so the walls are thick. It sleeps eight, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms.
It's a 4 Star place, which means it's well done and comfortable. There's underfloor heating from an air source heat pump, and solar panels. The water is from a spring, filtered at the tap. Some of the furniture is handmade or upcycled.
Large French doors at the front and back open onto the garden. There's a big lawn at the front and a courtyard at the back. Both have furniture. The courtyard gets the sun. There's a BBQ.
Inside, there's a wood burning stove for cooler evenings. You can connect an MP3 player to the ceiling speakers in the living room if you want your own music. There's a TV, WiFi, and a dishwasher. Bedding is included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
You can bring two dogs. There's parking on site.
The local pub is a short walk away. Little Haven village is about a mile. It's a small place with a couple of pubs and a beach. Broad Haven, with a bigger sandy beach, is just over a mile in the other direction.
For walking, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is right there. You can drive to St Davids in about 20 minutes. Marloes Sands and Skomer Island for the puffins are about half an hour away. Haverfordwest is 15 minutes for main supermarkets.
