Cranford Cottage is just outside St Brides village. It’s a modern, detached cottage. Everything’s on one level, which is handy. There’s a ramp up to the front door, so it’s accessible. The garden is fully enclosed.
It sleeps two, in one bedroom up on a mezzanine. There’s a switch that makes the glass wall go frosted for privacy. Electric blinds too. The living space is open plan.
The place is done to a high standard. It’s got underfloor heating downstairs and a really efficient wood burner. The kitchen is local craftsmanship, granite tops, with a good NEFF oven. There’s a dishwasher and washing machine. TV has Sky. Wi-Fi is fast. All bedding and towels are included.
You’re right on the coast path here. The view from the garden is over fields to the sea. It’s very quiet. St Brides Haven is a five minute walk down a lane. It’s a sheltered, pebble and sand beach. For boats to Skomer Island, you go to Martin’s Haven, which is about a ten minute drive. It’s a great spot for puffins and other seabirds. Dale is nearby for sailing and windsurfing. West Dale beach is good for surfing.
