The Stable is in Marloes, Pembrokeshire. It used to be a stone stable. The view is the main thing. You can see right across to Ramsey Island and St Davids from the front.
It sleeps seven. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has everything you need. The floors are stone tiles, which are nice and cool in summer. The doors are solid oak with those old fashioned latches.
You can walk straight out from the garden, across a wildflower field, and onto the coastal path. Marloes Sands beach is that way too. It's a proper, unspoilt beach. The garden is enclosed, so it's fine for kids and dogs.
There's a sun room with a deck. You can sit out there and just watch the boats. At night, you can see the South Bishop lighthouse flashing, and the stars are very clear.
The place has a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, and wifi. All the bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
It's a rural spot, so you'll want a car. St Davids is about a twenty minute drive. You've got the coast path on the doorstep for walking. For planning wider trips, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park site is useful, and the National Trust in Wales looks after a lot of the coastline here.
