East Hook Farmhouse

East Hook Farmhouse is just outside Marloes in Pembrokeshire. It's detached and looks out over fields towards the sea.

It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been renovated but it's still a proper farmhouse. The kitchen is big, which is good because the dining table seats everyone.

One of the twin bedrooms is set up more for kids, with some books and things. There's a boat-shaped bookcase on the landing with more books to borrow. The stairs are standard cottage stairs.

The garden is enclosed, which is handy with a dog or kids. There's a patio looking west over the bay, so you get the sun in the evenings. You can access the coastal path directly from the field below the house.

Marloes village is about a mile and a half away. It's got a small shop, a cafe, and a pub. For beaches, Marloes Sands is close. Dale is about four miles for a more sheltered bay, good if you're into sailing or windsurfing. They've also got a pontoon there which is popular for crabbing.

If you're here between April and August, the boat trips from Martin's Haven to Skomer Island are worth doing to see the puffins. You can drive to it in about ten minutes.

Facilities wise: it has a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV, parking, and an electric vehicle charger. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
