Collingwood Cottage

Collingwood Cottage is in Marloes village. It sleeps six, in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which helps. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is a good standard. You can bring one dog.

The place is light inside. The ground floor has wood floors, so it's practical. There's information left by the owner about the area. It's useful.

The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have a dog or children. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and a wood burner. Parking is on site.

Marloes village has a pub that's popular. There's a playpark and a bus stop for the Puffin Shuttle, which is a coastal bus service.

The beach here is Marloes Sands. It's a big, sandy beach, over a mile long. Good for surfing. There are other beaches nearby like Musselwick and West Dale. The coast path runs right past here. The section around the Deer Park and St Ann's Head is particularly good.

Dale, which is a few minutes drive away, is very sheltered. It's good for sailing, paddleboarding, and kayaking. Boat trips go from places like Martin's Haven out to the islands, like Skomer. You can see puffins and seals. For birdwatching, there's also the Marloes Mere and the Gann estuary.

Within about half an hour you can get to a few places. St Davids with its cathedral is about twenty-five minutes. Pembroke Castle is about half an hour. The Preseli hills are inland, maybe thirty minutes.
