Collingwood

Collingwood is in Marloes, in Pembrokeshire. It's a Victorian semi-detached house on a quiet lane, a few fields back from the coast.

It sleeps four people, in two bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 3 Star rating. The place is clean and comfortable. It's got quarry tiles and fireplaces in most rooms, so it's got its original character. The stairs are a typical cottage staircase, so they're a bit steep.

The garden is lawned. You can sit out there and you'll usually hear the sea. You're about a ten minute walk from Marloes Sands beach, which is National Trust. It's a very good beach. The village has two pubs, both about fifty yards away. They serve food and local ale.

For boat trips, Martin's Haven is close by. You can go over to Skomer Island to see the puffins and seals. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs right through the area if you want to walk. Dale is five minutes down the road if you're into sailing or water sports.

Further afield, Tenby is about a forty-five minute drive. The whole coastline here is worth seeing.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, and bedding is included. I can provide a highchair if needed. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's parking.
