The Cart House

The Cart House is on our farm near Marloes. It's a converted farm building. You're about five minutes' walk from the coast path, which is really just a track across the field. The views from here are good, straight out to sea.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished. There's a bedroom downstairs and another up on a mezzanine. The stairs to the mezzanine are more of a ladder, really. They're steep and open. Fine for most, but something to be aware of.

You share a courtyard with the other cottages here. There's a barbecue and a fire pit, and a pizza oven you can use. The kids can play table tennis or football. There are fishing ponds on the farm if that's your thing.

The local beach is Marloes Sands. It's a huge beach when the tide's out. You can get boat trips to Skomer Island from Martin's Haven, which is very close, to see the puffins and seals. There's a pub in Marloes village, and a few more in Little Haven, which isn't far.

St David's is about a twenty minute drive. It's small but has the cathedral, some shops and places to eat. If you've got children, places like Folly Farm or Oakwood are within half an hour.

For facilities: it's got a dishwasher and washing machine, parking right outside, and an electric car charger. We include bedding and towels. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
