Rowan Cottage
Rowan Cottage is in Walwyn's Castle, a small village about ten minutes from the coast. It's the end cottage in a row of three, all on one level, which is handy. You have your own enclosed garden with a patio. It looks out over fields. When the sun's setting, it's a good spot.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's modern and clean. The kitchen, dining and living area is all open plan, so you're not shut off from each other.
The main thing here is the leisure facilities. There's a shared games room on the site with a full-size pool table, table tennis, and football. There's also a small climbing frame and slide outside for kids. If you want, you can use the tennis court and the gym. The hot tub on your patio is private, just for the cottage.
For the coast, you're about three miles from St Brides Bay. Little Haven and Broad Haven are your closest proper beaches. Little Haven has a couple of pubs that do food. Dale is a bit further, good if you like sailing or kayaking. You can get boats from St Martins Haven over to Skomer Island to see the puffins.
Further afield, you've got places like Tenby, Folly Farm, and Oakwood theme park. They're about a 40 minute drive. The main Pembrokeshire Coast Path is very close for walking.
Facilities wise: WiFi, TV, washing machine, all bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring one dog. Parking is right outside the cottage.
