Point House
Point House is in Milford Haven. It's a big old place that was a merchant's home once. We did it up. It sleeps eleven people across four bedrooms. Three bathrooms. That copper bath in the family bathroom is a bit of a feature, it's true.
The main thing is the view. It looks right out over the water from the marina. The living room has those big bi-fold doors that open onto a balcony. You get the view from most rooms, really. It's very light.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. Two living areas. The kitchen's modern and has what you need. Upstairs, the master bedroom is big and has its own bathroom. The stairs are fine, normal stairs.
You're a few minutes' walk from the marina. There are restaurants and shops down there. The local pub is about a quarter of a mile. The coast path is right there if you want to go for a walk.
For a beach, the nearest one is about 800 yards. The really good ones, like Broadhaven and Barafundle, are a short drive away. Tenby is about a twenty minute drive. It’s a proper seaside town with shops and a harbour.
The National Trust Stackpole Estate is close. That's where the Bosherston Lily Ponds are, and the walk down to Barafundle Bay. Good for a day out.
Facilities: parking on site, enclosed garden, BBQ, washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Highchair and cot available. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
