The Granary is one of two cottages on our working farm. It’s in Hundleton, which is quiet, just outside Pembroke. You can see the fields and the Milford Haven waterway in the distance.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs. The stairs are quite steep, but they're fine if you take your time. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which I think means it’s comfortable and well looked after.
Downstairs is all open plan: kitchen, living area, and dining space. The kitchen is galley-style, so it’s long and narrow. It works. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you’ve got the dog with you. There’s a patio heater out there, and it gets the sun in the evening.
Pembroke town and the castle are about five minutes away by car. It’s a proper castle, the birthplace of Henry VII. Pembroke Castle is worth a visit.
For the coast, you’re close to Freshwater West and Angle Bay. Both are about ten or fifteen minutes in the car. The whole Pembrokeshire Coast Path is right there for walking. Pembrokeshire Coast National Park has all the details.
There’s a pub in the village, a couple of minutes’ walk. It’s fine for a drink. For more restaurants and shops, you’d go into Pembroke or Tenby. Tenby is about twenty minutes away.
If you’ve got kids, Folly Farm and Oakwood theme park are both within half an hour.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
The other cottage, Hunters Lodge, is next door. You can book both together if you’re a bigger group.
