Swallow Barn is just outside St Petrox in Pembrokeshire. It's down a quiet lane, so you get peace. It used to be a barn, so it's got those thick stone walls and exposed beams. It's been done up, so it's comfortable and warm.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. The main bedroom is ensuite. The stairs are okay, but they're on the narrow side, like in most old places.
You've got a wood burner for chilly evenings. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. The garden is enclosed and private, good for sitting out or for the dogs. We do allow two pets.
The nearest pub is about a mile and a half away. Pembroke town is three miles for a supermarket. The big thing here is the coast. You can walk to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path from here. Barafundle Bay and Broadhaven South are both stunning beaches, maybe a ten minute drive. The Stackpole Estate is right on your doorstep for walking. The lily ponds at Bosherston are famous for the otters.
Tenby is about eight miles east. It's a proper seaside town with shops and a harbour. You can get boat trips from there to Caldey Island. Inland, the Preseli Hills are good for a different kind of walk.
Everything's included: electricity, bedding, towels, and the wifi. There's parking for two cars on the gravel next to the cottage.
