Springfield is a bungalow in Lamphey. It's detached and all on one level, so no stairs to worry about. We did it up in 2022.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well equipped. The main living space is open plan, with the kitchen, dining and living area all together. It gets a lot of light.
The garden is enclosed. There's a lawn and a patio with a BBQ. It's a quiet spot.
Lamphey itself is small. There's a village shop for basics. You can walk to the Lamphey Bishop's Palace ruins in about ten minutes. It's run by Cadw.
Pembroke town is about a mile away. You can drive it in five minutes or there's a footpath. The castle there is where Henry VII was born. For beaches, Freshwater East is the closest. It's about a five minute drive. You can walk it, but it takes over half an hour.
Within a 30 minute drive you've got Tenby, which has the town beaches and shops. There are other beaches all along the coast too, like Manorbier. For days out, the big places are Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park, and Heatherton. They're all within that half hour radius.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. There's parking on site. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance and has a walk-in shower. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
