Trinity Lodge is in Burton Ferry, right on the river Cleddau. It's one of three places in the walled garden of the main house, Trinity House. You get your own private bit of garden, but the lawns and terraces are shared. It looks out over the water.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating. I think that's mainly because of the facilities you get to use. They aren't in the lodge itself, they're in a separate building on the grounds. There's a heated indoor swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a fitness area, and a games room with a full sized snooker table, a pool table and table tennis. It's very handy if the weather turns.
The bedrooms have exposed beams. One of them has a sloped ceiling with roof lights, so you can see the sky from the bed. The stairs are traditional cottage stairs, so they're a bit steep. The sitting room has a wood burner and an inglenook fireplace.
You can fish right off the old jetty by the house. If you've got a boat, the launching point is about 200 yards away. There's a floating pontoon even closer. For boat trips, you can get on a Shearwater Safari or a Cleddau Cruise from Neyland Marina, which is two and a half miles away.
The closest place for a pint or a meal is literally next door, about twelve yards away. Neyland has a good butcher, a newsagent, and a post office. For a big supermarket, you'd go to Pembroke Dock, which is two miles over the bridge. The nearest proper beach is about seven miles.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking on site. Bedding is included, and we provide a cot and highchair if you need them. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher.
