Bwthyn Bwlford is a stone cottage attached to our farmhouse in Johnston. We've got about thirteen acres of fields and woodland here.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been restored, so there are old beams and original windows. The garden is enclosed and private, with a deck and a hot tub.
You're welcome to fish in the ponds on the land. It's catch and release. There's carp, perch, that sort of thing. No charge.
The local pub is about a ten minute walk. For a shop or a restaurant, you'd need to drive about three miles to Haverfordwest or Milford Haven. Milford Haven has a marina and places to eat. The coast is close. Broad Haven beach is about a ten minute drive. It's a good sandy beach for families. Further along the coast there's Little Haven, which is a small cove.
If you're interested in wildlife, the islands of Skomer and Skokholm are accessible from Martin's Haven. You can see puffins and seals. It's about a twenty minute drive from here to the Lockley Lodge departure point. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park site has all the details.
For a day out, Oakwood Theme Park is roughly twenty minutes away. The West Wales Wildlife Park is about half an hour's drive.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, and a BBQ. A cot and highchair are here if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two dogs.
