Beats Cottage
Beats Cottage is on Newton Mountain, in Pembrokeshire. It's detached, but we live next door in the main house. You'll have the place and the garden to yourselves.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious. The stairs are very steep. They're the original cottage stairs.
The kitchen, dining and living area is all one open room downstairs. It's got slate floors and the walls are stone. Upstairs, one of the twin bedrooms is in what they call a 'crog loft'. It's a small, low room in the eaves.
You can bring one dog. There's a TV, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. There's a barbecue out on the patio.
The nearest pub that does food is about a mile and a half away. The proper shops are in Pembroke, which is a ten minute drive. It's a good town. The castle is worth seeing.
You're right in the middle of Pembrokeshire here. You can walk straight out into the countryside. The coast and all the big beaches are about a twenty to thirty minute drive. Tenby is roughly thirty five minutes. It's got the big sandy beaches and the harbour.
If you've got children, Folly Farm, Heatherton, and Oakwood theme park are all within forty minutes by car.
