Woodpecker
Woodpecker is in Milford Haven, looking out over an inlet called Castle Pill. It's a new build, one of a pair. You get your own terrace out the front.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well equipped and in good order.
The main living area is open plan, with patio doors that open onto the terrace. It's a good spot to sit and watch the tide go in and out. There are steps down from the garden to the waterline, so if you've got kayaks or like poking around on the shore, you're sorted.
It's a quiet spot but not remote. You're only a few minutes in the car from Milford Haven town for shops. Dale village and its beaches are about a 15 minute drive. They do water sports hire there if you're interested.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is right there, obviously. For a day out, St Davids is about half an hour's drive. You've also got places like Tenby and Saundersfoot within 30 minutes.
Facilities are all there: washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, parking. It's wheelchair friendly at the entrance and the main living space is all on one level. We allow up to two dogs.
