Trinity Cottage
This is Trinity Cottage in Burton Ferry, Pembrokeshire. It's a holiday cottage in the grounds of the main house, Trinity House, which is right on the water. You get the river view.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms, with one bathroom. It has a 5 Star rating, which means it's well equipped and finished to a good standard. You're welcome to bring up to two dogs.
The main thing here is the shared facilities. They're in a separate building. There's an indoor heated swimming pool, a sauna, a jacuzzi, and a fitness area. There's also a games room with a full sized snooker table, a pool table, and table tennis. It's useful if the weather turns.
The cottage itself has a patio and garden area. The wider grounds are landscaped with lawns, waterfalls, and a lily pond. You need to be careful with young children, because there's the pool, the pond, and the property is right on the sea wall with an open jetty.
The pub and restaurant is about twelve yards away. For boats, there's a launching spot 200 yards away and a floating pontoon 50 yards away. You can get boat trips on the river from there, or from Neyland Marina which is two and a half miles away. Neyland has a good butcher, newsagent, pharmacy, and post office. The bigger supermarkets are in Pembroke Dock, about two miles over the bridge.
The nearest beach is about seven miles. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is on your doorstep for walking. You're well placed for places like Milford Haven, Pembroke Castle, and Tenby.
Inside, it's got the things you'd expect: TV, WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's parking on site.
