Trinity Cottage
Trinity Cottage is one of three places here at Burton Ferry. It's set in the grounds of Trinity House, which is right on the water. You can see the river from the front.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's nicely done, feels more like a home than a basic let.
The main thing here is the shared facilities. There's a heated indoor pool, a sauna, a Jacuzzi, and a games room with a full-sized snooker table, pool table, and table tennis. It's all on-site, so it's good if the weather turns.
You need to be careful with young kids though. There are sea walls, an open jetty, a pond, and the pool, all within the grounds. Worth knowing.
There's a pub and restaurant literally next door, about twelve yards away. For boats, you can launch 200 yards down. There's a floating pontoon about 50 yards away for mooring. You can fish off the old jetty here.
Neyland is two and a half miles away. It's a small town with a decent butcher, newsagent, and a Post Office. For big supermarkets, you'd go to Pembroke Dock, which is about two miles over the bridge.
The nearest proper beach is about seven miles. For walking, you're on the edge of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The National Trust has a lot of coastal spots nearby too, like Stackpole.
Facilities wise: it has a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi, on-site parking, and a patio garden. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. We provide bedding, a cot, highchair, and a stairgate if you need them.
You can book it together with Trinity Villa and Trinity Lodge if you've got a bigger group, up to eighteen in total.
