Great Nash House is in Hook, Pembrokeshire. It's on the edge of a working farm courtyard but has its own drive and entrance. The house is big and detached. It was built in the 18th century.
It sleeps ten people. There are five bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor. The stairs are a proper turning staircase, quite grand. There's a stained glass window on the half landing. The place is furnished with a mix of old and new things, some local art.
You get a wood burner and underfloor heating, so it's warm. There's a front and side lawn, and a sheltered patio area with some walls around it. Good for eating outside.
The village has a shop with a post office and a pharmacy. The pub serves food and is welcoming. You can launch small boats from Llangwm, which is close by on the estuary. They have a scarecrow festival in the summer.
For bigger days out, you're not far from things. Pembroke Castle is about a 20 minute drive. The coast and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path are within half an hour. Tenby is roughly 30 minutes by car.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. Parking on site. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
