Woodlands Cottage

Woodlands Cottage is in Hook, Pembrokeshire. It's a detached stone cottage on a quiet lane that doesn't go anywhere else. You're right on the edge of the Cleddau Estuary.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. There's an open fire in the living room. The stairs are typical cottage stairs.

The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have a dog or kids. You can see the tree-lined river from the upstairs windows.

You're just outside the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. For a walk, you can go straight out the door and down the lane to the riverbank. It's a Special Area of Conservation, so there's often birdlife about. If you have a kayak, the estuary access is about fifty yards away.

The nearest shop is a few minutes' walk. The nearest pub and restaurant are about two miles away in Llangwm.

In terms of beaches, you're looking at a 30 to 40 minute drive to most of the good ones in south Pembrokeshire. That includes places like Tenby, Whitesands, and Newgale. Folly Farm and Oakwood Theme Park are within about half an hour.

Facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We allow one well-behaved dog. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but the bathroom is upstairs.
