The Hays is in Burton Ferry, on the edge of the Cleddau Estuary. It's an annex attached to our house, but it's entirely private with its own front door and garden. It's for two people only.
The main thing is the view. You look straight out over the water. You can watch the tide go in and out and see the boats. The sun sets right in front of you.
Inside, it's a 4 Star place. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's all on one level. There's a living room with a flame effect fire, a kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. We provide all the bedding and towels.
You have your own garden with furniture to sit in. There's parking right outside.
The Ferry Inn is about a five minute walk along the road. They do food and have a garden by the water. In summer they put out a pontoon for crabbing. You can get down to the shingle beach from there too if you have a kayak.
For walking, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is on your doorstep. You can pick it up at various points. For a classic beach, Barafundle or Freshwater West are about a twenty minute drive. Tenby is also about twenty minutes away. Pembroke town and its castle are ten minutes up the road.
If you're interested in boat trips to see puffins on Skomer Island, or want to visit Caldey Island, you'd head to places like Martin's Haven or Tenby harbour. Neyland Marina is a short drive for other boat trips.

Facilities to note: we have a highchair if needed. There's WiFi and a TV. No pets, I'm afraid.
