Hafan Fach is in Maiden Wells, right in the south of Pembrokeshire. It's a wooden glamping pod. It's not a cottage, just to be clear. It's warm and dry, but it is essentially one room.
It sleeps two adults in the double bed, and there's a single sofa bed too if you have a child. So three maximum. One bathroom, attached. The shower is a proper one. Hot water's fine.
Inside, it's straightforward. There's a kitchen area with a kettle and toaster, a small fridge, and a microwave. No oven or hob. There's a table and chairs, and a TV. Everything is pine-clad, which smells nice.
You can park right next to it. Outside there's a decked area with a table, chairs, and a hot tub. The hot tub is electric and heated. It looks out over fields towards the coast. On a clear day you can see the cliffs at Freshwater East in the distance.
The location is why you'd book it. You're a few minutes' drive from Stackpole and Bosherton. The National Trust Stackpole site has the Bosherton Lily Ponds and Barafundle Bay, which is one of the best beaches around. You can walk to the coast from there. Freshwater East and West are also close.
Pembroke Castle is about ten minutes away. It's a big, proper castle. Pembroke Castle is good for a visit if the weather turns. Carew Castle and Mill are about a fifteen minute drive.
It's very dark here at night. No street lights. You get a good view of the stars if it's clear.
We allow one well-behaved dog. The garden isn't fully enclosed, so you'd need to keep them on a lead if they wander. Bedding and towels are included. There's a barbecue you can use.
