The Old Brewery

The Old Brewery is in Pembroke. It's a big place that sleeps up to 24 people across twelve bedrooms and nine bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It was fully renovated a couple of years ago now. It's opposite Pembroke Castle, so you're right in the historic bit of town.

The main thing about it is the space. It's really for a large group, like a big family holiday or a celebration. There's a large open plan kitchen and dining area. Off that, there's a bar area on one side and a TV area on the other. Then through from there is a big studio room with lots of windows. People use it for games, or as a general extra room. There's table tennis and a pool table in there.

The living room has a big inglenook fireplace with a wood burner. The original floorboards are still there. There's a small area for kids with bean bags and games. Upstairs are the twelve bedrooms. Five of them are master bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The bedding and towels are all included.

Outside, there's a courtyard garden that's shared between this main house and the few other cottages on the site. There's parking on site. You can bring up to three dogs.

You're in the middle of Pembroke town. There are shops, pubs, and places to eat all within walking distance. The local pub serves food. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs close by, about 300 yards away. It goes along the river and up to the castle mill pond.

For the coast, Tenby is about a twenty-minute drive. It's a proper seaside town with beaches, shops, and boat trips over to Caldey Island. There are several good beaches within a half-hour drive, like Barafundle.

If you're looking for a day out further inland, you've got places like Carew Castle, or St Davids Cathedral about forty minutes north. For something different, Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm, and the Welsh Zoo are all roughly within a thirty-minute drive.

Facilities at the house: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, BBQ, and a cot and highchair if you need them. The electricity and utilities are included.
