The Captains Hideaway is in Sageston. It's a small village between Tenby and Pembroke. You're a few minutes' drive from the coast, but you're set back from it, so it's quiet.
The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. The garden is enclosed and gets the sun, facing south. There's a patio, a bit of lawn, a barbecue, and a firepit. You get the whole garden to yourselves.
Inside, it's open plan. Kitchen, dining, living room all together. There's a wood burner. As the name suggests, it's decorated with a bit of a nautical theme. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside.
You can bring up to two dogs.
The stairs have a stairgate at the top, which is useful.
There are two village pubs within walking distance. Both serve food.
Carew Castle is about a five-minute walk away. It's a ruin. The Tidal Mill is a longer walk, maybe twenty minutes. Both are worth a look. You can get joint tickets. Carew Castle and Tidal Mill.
Tenby is a ten-minute drive. It's a proper seaside town with a harbour and beaches. You can get the boat over to Caldey Island from there. Caldey Island.
Other beaches like Manorbier, Freshwater East, and Saundersfoot are all within a fifteen to twenty-minute drive.
For a day out, there are places like Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park, or the Dinosaur Park. All about fifteen minutes by car.
If you want to walk, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is nearby. The nearest proper access is probably at Penalty. Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
