Priory Stile is in Haverfordwest. It’s a detached cottage, built in the 1700s. It looks right over the old priory ruins. The garden is enclosed and private, with different sections including lawns and a sunken bit. There’s a patio with a BBQ.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy. Two of them are en-suites. The master bedroom has French doors out to a small balcony.
Inside, it’s been restored but keeps the old features like beams and stone walls. The stairs are normal cottage stairs. The living room has a wood burner. The kitchen is through there and it’s got everything you’d need. The dining room is down three steps from the kitchen, so mind your head on the beam if you’re tall.
The garden has a pond with newts in it. There are steps and different levels, so small children need watching.
You’re about three minutes’ walk from a pub, down by the river. Haverfordwest town centre is five minutes away for shops and things. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park starts just west of here. Broad Haven beach is a ten-minute drive.
For things to do, National Trust Wales has lots of places nearby. Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park, and Manor House Wildlife Park are all within about half an hour’s drive.
Facilities: it’s got a 4 Star rating. There’s parking, WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs.
