Tucking Cottage
Tucking Cottage is ours. It's in Treffgarne near Haverfordwest. It's detached, but it's on our private drive next to our house. You'll see our cars coming and going.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. The bathroom is on the ground floor and it's a walk-in wet room. That's useful if stairs are a problem. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.
The main room is open plan with a high ceiling and some old beams. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. You can bring one dog. There's a small courtyard garden with a barbecue and a table. You get a good view down the valley from there.
The cottage is on the edge of our land. You're welcome to walk around. There's an old ruined mill and some gardens. Footpaths start right from the door if you want to go further.
The village pub is about a mile away. They do food. The nearest shop is in Haverfordwest, about ten minutes in the car.
The coast is the main thing here. It's about a twenty minute drive to get to beaches like Newgale or Nolton Haven. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is all along there. Inland, places like Pembroke Castle or Colby Woodland Garden are within half an hour.
