This is Caldey Cottage. It's in Roch, which is a small place about five minutes inland from the coast at Newgale.
It's a conversion, from an old grain store. Sleeps two, one bedroom upstairs with an ensuite shower room. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's finished to a high standard. There's underfloor heating downstairs which keeps it warm.
The layout is open plan downstairs: kitchen, dining, and living area all in one space. Upstairs is just the bedroom and bathroom.
Outside, there's a paved patio with a table and chairs. The view looks out over fields to the sea. It's a good spot for sunsets.
The property is one of four on the site, so you might see other guests coming and going. There's no fully enclosed garden, but there is a large field right across the driveway for letting a dog run. A footpath from the grounds goes down to Nolton Haven beach.
Location wise, you can drive to Newgale beach in about five minutes. It's a big beach, good for surfing. The coast path is right there. There's a local pub in Roch village, a short walk away.
For a day out, St Davids is about twenty minutes by car. You've got the cathedral and the bishop's palace there. Further along the coast, the National Trust's Stackpole Estate is about half an hour's drive. That's where Barafundle Bay is.
Facilities: it's all there. WiFi, TV, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking and an electric vehicle charger. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
