Bridge View Cottage is in Middle Mill, Pembrokeshire. It's the cottage near the bridge over the stream, as the name suggests.
It sleeps five in three bedrooms and has one bathroom. The rating is 4 Star, so it's well kept.
You'll need a car. The track down to it is single lane in places and quite steep at the end. There's a parking area now that fits three cars, which is a big improvement. You can turn around, which is helpful.
The inside is very much a traditional cottage. It's beamed, with wooden floors. The ceilings slope in some bedrooms. The stairs are steep, being an old place. There's a wood burner in the living room. It's comfortable.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You can take up to two. It's been made bigger recently and is mostly laid to lawn with some wildflowers.
The location is quiet. You're in the valley, just outside Solva. The sea at Solva harbour is about a mile and a half away. It's a steep little walk down and back up, but very pretty. There's a working woollen mill about 200 yards up the lane that's worth a visit. They have a tearoom and do demonstrations.
For a shop, you've got the one in Upper Solva, about a mile away. It's a proper village shop with basics. The nearest pub is The Ship in Solva.
You're in a good spot for beaches. Newgale is about a 10 minute drive. Whitesands is maybe 15 minutes. St Davids, with the cathedral and shops, is about 10 minutes by car.
The facilities are what you'd expect. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, and Wi-Fi. Bedding is included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
