Woodland Retreat is basically a one-bedroom cottage in some woods near Solva. It sleeps two. It’s got a 4 star rating, which means it's done up well.
It's a small place, built from an old laundry. It's detached and sits in about 12 acres of woodland. There's a wildlife pond out front with ducks.
Inside it's all open plan. There's a wood burner, underfloor heating, and a TV. The bathroom is a wet room. The stairs are very steep and narrow, so just mind your head.
You’ve got a walled garden at the back with a table and chairs. It's enclosed, so it's good for dogs. We take up to two dogs.
Solva village is about a mile and a half away. There’s a path through the woods that gets you there. It's got a couple of pubs, places to eat, and a harbour.
For a bigger day out, St Davids is ten minutes by car. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is accessible near Solva. Good beaches like Newgale and Whitesands are within a 20 minute drive.
Facilities: there's parking right by the cottage, WiFi, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. There’s bike storage if you need it.
