Yr Hen Felin
Yr Hen Felin is in Castlemorris. It's one of four cottages around a courtyard, converted from an old mill. It backs onto fields.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The hallway ceiling goes all the way up to the roof, which is unusual. It feels quite open because of that.
The lounge has French doors out to the back garden. The garden is enclosed and sheltered, good for sitting out. There's a gas coal effect stove in the lounge too.
The village, Mathry, is quiet. There's a pub. The church doors are usually open if you want a look. For beaches, Abermawr and Aberbach are twin sand and shingle beaches about seven and a half miles away. You can walk to them through National Trust woodland, which is full of bluebells in spring.
The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is within a ten minute drive. Plenty of coves and beaches along there. Good for walking and wildlife.
Facilities wise: there's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. A cot and highchair are there if you need them. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
