This is Cariad. It's a shepherd's hut on a glamping site just outside Fishguard town. You have your own bit of garden, and your own separate kitchen hut and shower hut. The shower is good and hot.
The site has six acres so the pitches are well spaced. You get a great view over Fishguard Bay. There are hammocks and benches dotted around. You have your own fire pit for the evening.
Tregroes Pantry, which is on site, does evening meals from Easter to the end of September. They have a bar and sometimes music on a Friday in summer.
The Pembrokeshire coast path is less than a mile's walk away. The bit near Fishguard is quieter than down in the south of the county. Good pebble beaches and sandy ones too. Strumble Head is a couple of miles west. It's a great walk out to the lighthouse and you often see seals. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park website has maps.
Fishguard town is walkable. It has a few pubs and shops. You might be there during one of the festivals.
The Preseli Hills are about twenty minutes' drive inland. Good walking there, and sites like Pentre Ifan. Castell Henllys is an Iron Age village they've rebuilt.
The hut sleeps two. One double bed. It has a 4 Star rating. There's parking right by your pitch. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
