Aderyn is a glamping hut on a 6-acre site just outside Fishguard. You're less than a mile from the coast. It's not one big field, each pitch has its own private space with a garden, plus a separate hut for the kitchen and shower.
It sleeps four, but it's one bedroom. There’s a proper double bed and then bunk beds in the same room. It's a 4 Star, which for glamping means it's well equipped and comfortable. You can bring one dog.
The site has lovely views over Fishguard Bay. There are hammocks and benches dotted around. You get your own fire-pit. On a clear night, the stars are amazing because there's not much light around.
Tregroes Pantry, the on-site restaurant, does evening meals four nights a week and a Sunday roast. They sometimes have music on Friday nights in summer. It's seasonal, so it opens at Easter and closes at the end of September.
You can walk into Fishguard. It’s a proper west Wales town with a few pubs, cafes, and shops. It hosts things like the folk festival. The coast path is right there. The beaches here are a mix of sand and pebble, and it’s quieter than the south of the county.
Strumble Head is about two miles west. The views from there are spectacular. You can walk up Garn Fawr for a proper panorama. It's a great spot for watching seabirds and, if you're lucky, dolphins. There's a big seal colony nearby too.
The Preseli Hills are a short drive northeast. Good walking country, and full of ancient sites like Pentre Ifan burial chamber. The National Trust has a few properties nearby if the weather turns. For planning coastal walks, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park website is useful.
Facilities: Your own shower hut and kitchen hut. Bedding is included. There's a cot if you need it. WiFi and parking are on site.
