Y Caban

Y Caban is on the outskirts of Fishguard. It's a glamping cabin. There are six other glamping pitches on the same seven acre site, but they're all spaced out well.

It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. The bed is in a proper room. The bathroom and kitchen are in small, separate huts next to the main cabin. You have your own little garden area with a fire pit. The views over Fishguard Bay are good.

There's a pantry on site that does evening meals four days a week and a Sunday roast in the summer. They sometimes have music on Friday nights. That runs from Easter to the end of September. The rest of the year, you're on your own for food.

Fishguard town is less than a mile away. You can walk it. It has pubs, cafes, and a small supermarket. They have a couple of festivals in the summer.

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is right there. You can be on it in a few minutes walk. The coast here is more pebble beaches and quiet coves than big sandy ones. Strumble Head is about two miles west. The views from there are some of the best around, and you often see seals. The Preseli Hills are a short drive inland if you fancy a change from the coast.

Facilities: there's parking, your own shower hut, your own kitchen hut with basics, WiFi, and bedding is provided. You can bring one dog.
