Carreg Yr Eos

Carreg Yr Eos is in Lower Town, Fishguard. It's right by the harbour, a stone-built cottage. When the tide's in, it's about twenty normal steps from the front door to the water.

It sleeps four, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean, but it's not a show home. The ceilings upstairs are low in places, as you'd expect.

You get the whole garden to yourselves. It's over an acre, which is a lot. There's a patio on the cliff with good views over the harbour. There's a gate from the garden down to a small beach. You can bring one dog.

For a pub, there's one about half a mile away. It's flat, you just go round the harbour path. There's a restaurant a bit closer, but that's up a hill.

Upper Fishguard has shops, a supermarket, a chemist. The farmers market is on a Saturday.

You're on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path here. The walking is very good. For a day out, St Davids is about twenty minutes by car. The National Trust has a few places nearby too, like St Davids Peninsula.

Facilities: it has a woodburning stove, WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. Parking is on site.
