This is Y Cwtch. It's a glamping hut on a site just outside Fishguard. The site has great views over the bay. It’s on six acres, so there’s some space.
It sleeps three. One bedroom, one bathroom. The bathroom and kitchen are in separate huts next to your main hut. That’s part of the setup. There’s a 4 Star rating, which is good. It’s more comfortable than basic camping.
You get your own small garden area, a fire pit, and parking. Bedding is included. The site is mostly wheelchair accessible, but it’s grass and gravel paths, so check with us if you have specific needs. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
The on-site restaurant, Tregroes Pantry, is open from Easter to September. They do evening meals a few nights a week and a Sunday roast. There’s sometimes live music on summer Fridays.
You can walk into Fishguard in under half an hour. It’s a proper working town with some pubs and cafes. They have festivals like Aberjazz and the Folk Festival.
For beaches and coast walks, you’re right on the edge of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The coastal path starts less than a mile away. Strumble Head is a ten minute drive west. The views there are incredible, and you can often see seals and dolphins.
Inland, the Preseli Hills are about twenty minutes by car. Good for walking. You can visit sites like the Pentre Ifan burial chamber.
