This is Tranquillity. It's a detached cottage in Dinas Cross, Carmarthenshire. It sits inside the grounds of the Dinas Country Club, on the edge of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's well-finished and comfortable, not huge but well laid out. The living area is open plan with patio doors out to the deck. There's a small galley kitchen.
The main thing is the view. It's on a hill, looking straight out to sea. You get that view from inside and from the raised deck outside. The deck is a good spot in the evening.
You're right on the coastal path. A short walk down the lane brings you to three beaches: Cwm-yr-Eglwys, Pwllgwaelod, and Aberfforest. They're all different, all good for exploring. The path itself is right there if you want a longer walk.
Being part of the Country Club means you have use of their facilities. There's an outdoor heated swimming pool, a children's play area, and a football field. The Club's bar is in a 13th-century building about 50 yards away, and they serve food.
For a bigger town, Fishguard is about a ten-minute drive. It's a proper harbour town with shops and restaurants. If you want boat trips, maybe to see dolphins, you'd go from Cardigan, which is about half an hour away.
Inland, Cenarth Falls is worth a visit, about a 25-minute drive. In the autumn you can sometimes see salmon leaping.
In terms of facilities: it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, BT TV with sports and films. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site. The garden is enclosed. You can bring up to two dogs. We also have a cot and highchair if you need them.
