Old Newport Road

Old Newport Road is a terrace cottage on the hill above Fishguard Lower Town. It's stucco, painted white. You can see the quay from the front windows.

It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and everything works.

The living room has a wood burner. There's TV and WiFi. The kitchen has what you'd need: induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine. There's a fridge-freezer.

Outside, there's a small terrace at the back, up some old slate steps. They are steep. The terrace gets the sun and is enclosed. There's a barbecue.

It's about a two minute walk down to the quay. Good for sunsets. From there you can pick up the coast path. Walks are good in every direction.

You can bring two dogs. There are plenty of walks locally. The beach at Newport Sands is about a 15 minute drive. Good for swimming. Pwllgwaelod and Whitesands are also close by.

St David's is about half an hour away. It's a small city with the cathedral, shops and places to eat.

Facilities are all included: bedding, towels, electricity, parking on site. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but the terrace steps are steep and the bathroom is on the first floor.
