Lighthouse Watch is in Trefasser, on Strumble Head. The coast path is right there. Cottage is a bit of a misnomer. It’s a converted apartment attached to a farmhouse, but you have your own entrance and it’s completely separate.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles, and each has its own bathroom. That's useful. It's got a 5 Star rating, which basically means it's well finished and has everything you need.
The views are the main thing. You can see the sea and the cliffs from pretty much every window. The living area is upstairs to make the most of it. The stairs to get up to your front door are external slate steps. They're fine, but worth knowing.
You have a bit of garden space to sit in. It’s quiet. You'll see seals on the beaches below, especially in spring. The lighthouse is a short walk away, and there’s a proper wildlife observatory there if you're interested.
Garn Fawr, the old hillfort, is a good short walk from the door. The views from the top are massive. For beaches, Abermawr and Aberbach are about ten minutes' drive. They're rocky coves, not sandy.
Fishguard is the nearest place for shops, about six miles. It has pubs and a few places to eat. St Davids and Porthgain are both about half an hour south by car. Newport and the Preseli Hills are about the same drive north.
For facilities, it's got the normal things: woodburner, dishwasher, wifi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site. No pets.
